Less Godly idols
Hindus are some of the most devoted and god-fearing people. They live to pray and pray to live. There is a temple in almost every household, though they feel the urge to visit temples in nearby as well as far off places. But being humans, they feel the need to upgrade the idols in their homes like any other 'objects' in the house.
So what happens to these idols? It's not very uncommon to spot abandoned idols lying at peepal tree trunks among other places. The lucky one's among them have a fair chance of revival by being a part of a little temple at the tree trunk. Others just have to share space with last night's leftovers and other abandoned stuff. This series is my take on this practice.
